Job Overview:

The Store Facilities Specialist is responsible for executing the organization’s facilities initiatives to support company growth. This position is responsible for leading facilities related activities, database and contract management for the organization.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides troubleshooting and resolution of facilities requests

  • Contracts services for routine, emergency and preventative maintenance programs

  • Ensures timely dispatching and completion of all work orders and projects

  • Leads the efficient operation and repair of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, alarm, glass, fire equipment, floor coverings, drywall, and janitorial

  • Develops and maintains project tracking reports

  • Audits service invoices for accuracy and ensures timely payment in the proper period

  • Develops streamlined workflow processes for facilities activities

  • Ensures that all policies, workflows and processes are followed with the goal of controlling facilities costs, minimizing Acceptance Insurance liability and the amount of down time associated with issues

  • Communicates and develops strong relationships with landlords, contractors and internal customers

  • Manages construction scope of work for new, relocating and closing store projects

  • Procures supplies

  • Participates with real estate projects

  • Assists with lease administration

  • Performs other duties as assigned


  • Prior facilities, real estate or retail operations experience with varying scope and responsibility

  • Demonstrated understanding of facilities and construction related issues

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

  • Project management experience

  • Customer service experience
