If you are an experienced retail Multi-Unit operator that enjoys building and training strong, customer service driven teams, you need to give Acceptance Insurance a look. 

 

Position Summary:

As Regional Manager you will oversee an assigned multi-state market and be tasked with driving sales, development and growth within the region. You will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales Operations. This role collaborates with a District Manager Team to provide high-energy leadership, an industry leading customer experience, personnel development, marketing guidance designed to meet district/office performance targets. The assigned territories for this Regional Manager will be store locations in the following states: Alabama, Indiana, Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee.

 

The Regional Manager compensation packages include a competitive base salary, incentive plan and company vehicle.

 

Office Hours:

  • Monday – Friday 9 am – 6 pm
  • Saturday 10 am – 5 pm

Company Overview:

We are principally a retailer, servicer and underwriter of non-standard personal automobile insurance based in Nashville, Tennessee. Our insurance operations actively generate revenues from selling non-standard personal automobile insurance policies and related products in 16 states. We currently conduct our servicing and underwriting operations in 13 states and are licensed as an insurer in 13 additional states.

 

At March 31, 2017, we leased and operated 355 retail locations and a call center staffed with employee-agents. Our employee agents primarily sell non-standard personal automobile insurance products underwritten by us, as well as certain commissionable ancillary products. In most states, our employee-agents also sell a complementary insurance product providing personal property and liability coverage for renters underwritten by us. In addition, retail locations in some markets offer non-standard personal automobile insurance serviced and underwritten by other third-party insurance carriers for which we receive a commission

Responsibilities



Job Responsibilities for Regional Manager:

  • Provides leadership, direction, training, and coaching to direct reports as required to meet performance targets
  • Drives district/office execution of key programs and day-to-day operational expectations/tasks that result in the achievement of year-end goals and objectives
  • Evaluates Regional needs to ensure the growth and development of field locations and employees
  • Sets timetables and checkpoints to monitor progress and corrects course as needed
  • Analyzes audit findings and provide training opportunities for District Managers and field employees
  • Maintains expense controls to in order to maximize overall profitability
  • Presents an aura of honesty, openness, consistency, shared values and respect
  • Creates and maintains a culture of accountability and responsibility
  • Gains the trust and cooperation of superiors and subordinates alike
  • Minimizes team ineffectiveness by clear, crisp directives and verifies understanding
  • Maintain a full understanding/knowledge of insurance products, pricing and discounts across the full spectrum of product offerings
  • Maintains a familiarity with company systems/processes necessary to properly the operate field locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications for Regional Manager:

  • Previous experience implementing policies, procedures and compliance
  • Experience in coaching and training direct reports
  • Knowledge of marketing and driving outside sales
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple task/projects
  • Performance driven mindset
  • Ability to travel a minimum of 3 to 4 days per week
  • Insurance background is a plus
Education

  • Four year college degree in related field or year for year equivalent work experience
 

Experience Level

  • Three or more years of operational experience at a Multi-Unit / Multi-State Retail Sales Manager level or above involving  50 or more locations
